Dritan Thoma was born in Tirana where he currently lives. Painting has been a part of him since childhood. He got his early inspiration from the Renaissance and German Gothic masters. He graduated from the Artistic High School in 1999 and then graduated from the Academy of Arts in 2003. He currently works at the Institute of Monuments as a restorer.
