As I travel through different abandoned regions of Albania, I remember my grandmother’s house, a house that brings memories from the past and the evidence of a new reality, that of abandonment through nostalgia. The lost warmth of a house remains in my memory. Small with much joy within it, with mountainous landscape where the roof’s tiles appear first.
